'Pumpkins, perfectly plump in every way!' Not exactly a Mary Poppins quote but it sums up the pumpkins that we're enjoying every which way at the moment.
But after a wonderful week away I'm bringing you my latest favorite recipe with a touch of Greek sunshine. Shakshuka is a middle Eastern dish although many countries have their own versions, some spicier than others. A reminder of the sun, yes, but it's also a warming breakfast or lunch for the miserable weather we're currently experiencing. It's (boringly) healthy and fat-free, quick, easy and I love it! Do give it a try.
One lady wrote to tell me that Greece is on her bucket list. Well Karen, you won't be disappointed with such a delightfully hospitable country and caring people.

I've long had a soft spot for leopard print! A pair of leopard pyjamas as a teenager and I was sold!
Ok I don't want to wear it head to toe but I'm thrilled to see that it re-appears almost every Fall in some guise or other.
Leopard has become a classic, such an accepted neutral that it will work in your wardrobe for years to come. Not only in clothes, but in every kind of accessory to perk up your wardrobe collection whatever your color palette.

Karen completed her Color Analysis questionnaire the way many of you do by saying she wanted to look chic and put together without spending a fortune! She knew the colors that washed her out and was obviously drawn to strong tones, black in particular. In actual fact, black forms the perfect foil for the strong bold tones of the Winter color palette, and the icy lights (certainly not pastels) add a touch of sharp relief and contrast.
She says: "Thank you so much for your thoughtful and thorough analysis! It was really helpful for me to understand your process, and to see the pictures you prepared.
I can definitely see that Winter is the best season for me. I had wondered about bright or deep, but they definitely don’t work as well. I am drawn to Winter colours, but went down the rabbit hole of too many websites and online quizzes. The red highlights in my hair and green eyes were throwing me off, not realizing that I actually have cool eyes! I ended up buying some autumn coloured summer clothes, and I can see that they make me look a bit jaundiced when I look at my vacation photos!
I am so glad that I opted for your online colour analysis. Having an objective professional assess me has made all the difference and I am very happy with the results! Thank you so much for your patience and kindness, as well as the analysis!" Karen, Canada
