QUESTION

Hi Pamela.

I have a question regarding my personal style. I don't know what to call it.

I am an hourglass and I am short. I have long hair and I like wearing light makeup. I like floral prints and monochromatic styles. Polka dots is also my favourite.

I like colours like red, black, blue, deep green and anything which looks good on my skin. I like wearing dresses and skirts more than pants and jeans.

I love wearing heels up to 5 inches. I love wearing deep colour nail polish on my toes and red and pinks on my fingers. I wear small and simple accessories. I like cuff bracelets. Thank you for your help and time.

ANSWER

Hello there

Sorry this has taken an age to answer.

Love your description - you sound a happy lady and a really girly girl!

You don't have to put a name to your style. I talk about different Style Personalities because it can be a help when thinking about likes and dislikes. But the majority of us are a mix of 2 or even 3 of these.

Someone might be a real classic when they're working and turn into a rock chick at the club later! So don't get uptight about finding a name for your style.

The most important thing is to identify what you like and feel comfortable wearing. This makes it much easier to know what to avoid when you're shopping and pulling an outfit together.

No doubt that you look and feel good in dresses and skirts with an hourglass figure. Heels invariably look better and make you feel taller and more confident too.

You are a feminine lady, like pretty florals and polka dots. You like clear strong colors and know your own mind - you've got a great eye and can assess your preferences more than most people.

So what do I think? I think you're a bit of a cross between a Romantic and a Dramatic with a strong character.

A DRAMATIC ROMANTIC - how does that sound? Would love to see your photo!

kind regards
Pamela
