Lauren is certainly striking with naturally blonde hair and brilliant blue eyes. She gravitates towards vibrant and dramatic colors but can never figure out the difference between Warm and Cool!
As she works with children her wardrobe must be practical - although she likes to 'get dolled up' occasionally, as do we all! She finds black 'boring'.
It's easy for me to look at Lauren and picture her as a Spring but, sometimes, there is more than that to discover!
As I was beginning to produce images for Lauren, it soon became obvious that the undertone of a color really wasn't the most important factor.
She looked good in both Warm and Cool colors, so no wonder she was finding it difficult. There are times when another factor becomes the most important element and, in this case, I discovered that CLARITY was the major element.
Any colors that are soft or dusky completely flattened Lauren's beautiful clear natural coloring.
So I moved on from the soft muted palettes to the brightest and clearest of colors. They were certainly needed to 'match' her brilliance.
Lauren is very nearly a SPRING although some of the colors are just TOO WARM.
Lauren is very nearly a WINTER although some of the colors are just TOO COOL.
In fact, Goldilocks Lauren looks her best in the purest colors of all. CLARITY is the most important factor. The BRIGHT/CLEAR color family is 'just right'.
Following her color analysis results Lauren says:
"Thank you for my results! I am quite shocked! I knew I loved color and some level of contrast; however this level is surprising to me! It does make sense that I could never figure out if I was warm or cool and why I thought I looked best in colors with high saturation and some level of brightness from every season.
However, I never did consider my coloring to be high contrast or bright. My very favorite color to wear up to this point has been yellow. We will see how this goes as I continue to play with the bright colors. Thank you for your thorough analysis! Lauren, USA
