Makeup for Springs

QUESTION

Would you be able to recommend a makeup line for Spring? I am fascinated by the Tom Ford line of makeup. But I would rather reflect my light, bright, warm coloring. Any suggestions?

ANSWER

Hello - I have to admit that the Tom Ford range of makeup looks amazing. But I am yet to be persuaded that any cosmetic company has taken color coding completely on board!

Foundation colors are always the most important ingredient.

Get that right and, as long as you are aware of your color direction, then it should be easy to follow through into eye and lip color.

Take a trial, see what this makeup range can do for you, stick by the shades you know work for you, and if you are completely satisfied please let me know.

That's a great recommendation thank you - bright and warm. There's lots of synergy between Spring and Winter colors.

I like Tom Ford Something Wild lipstick for winter. It is a cross between coral, red and a little brick. It looks perfect on me as a dramatic evening color.
