How to identify Color Characteristics

QUESTION

Can you help me to identify some of the tonal qualities in the Color Circles? Some are not so obvious to me.

This is the area I get stumped in defining my palette. Please advise! thank you so much.

It can be very difficult to be objective about your own coloring.

I have tried to make my explanations easier so that you can work out how Color Analysis works..

You should be able to recognize your closest Tonal Color Family from this and click through to find out more about the colors that will flatter you.

See how you react to the Color Family that is presented to you and have a go with the Free Color Analysis Quiz too.

Analyze yourself and make a note of the colors that you enjoy wearing and those that raise a compliment. Take a look at all the other Color Families and check out the characteristics of those too.

Your coloring may be obvious or it may be a little more mixed. You can look at the Seasonal Color Families too.

If you want to be more specific and have indepth advice I would advise you to invest in an Online Color Analysis which will give you a complete color direction for the rest of your life!
